The news tonight is that Worst President Ever (hereinafter “WPE”) has pardoned his son.
You know the one – the crack-smoking, drug-addicted, whore-mongering, influence-peddling, gun-toting, tax-evading, lie-teller.
After stating time and again – but that was in the past, so it doesn’t count – that he wouldn’t, WPE proved himself to be as big a liar as the miscreant son.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you. I explicitly warned that WPE would do this, but for obvious reasons he would wait till after the election.
I also proposed that the pardon would seal the judgment of historians on WPE – that he is indeed the WPE.
So there we are. WPE has been officially crowned . . . Worst . . . President . . . Ever.
May the whole decrepit family rot in hell.
As a father, I would do the same pardon. The law is one element, my son would be primary in my consideration. Right? Probably not but family still over comes all..
(1) Not when you’re President, and the son is convicted of serious felonies. I recall that Jimmy Carter refused to pardon his little brother Billy. Carter, for all his flaws, was a principled man.
(2) He not only pardoned his son for serious felonies, he lied to the American people about his intentions.
Mine would not have, nor would I. Hunter is the product of a lifetime of accommodation and coddling. Unfortunately, at some point the state has to step in to correct for bad or non-parenting.
My son is my son. I genuinely feel sorry for you all. I am a very conservative soul. Yet, my son would supersede all. Right? Maybe not yet……….
You say “my son would supersede all.”
Really? “All”? There’s is NO point where you would draw a line?
I feel sorry for all the children who were never disciplined for their abhorrent behavior, and the people they hurt.
Man can pardon, scandalously, as WPE has done but one day they both will stand before Him with whom we have to do who has offered forgiveness upon repentance and accepting that the blood of Christ paid the penalty for their misdeeds. Apart from God’s forgiveness comes condemnation! May they humbly seek that!
I’m surprised he didn’t give him a Medal of Honor while he was at it.
lol
