The Left has embraced cop killers, rioters, arsonists, avowed Marxists, voting frauds, cancel culture and censors. They justify their accessory to crime and their trampling of Constitutional and human rights on the grounds that it serves a greater cause – the defeat of people who disagree with them.
This ends-justifies-the-means approach to morality – or to put it more simply, this abandonment of morality – is progressing inexorably to its natural conclusion. The Left now actively roots for the virus to kill people they don’t like, such as President Trump.
Drunk on their fantasy, they hope that his death is painful and humiliating and that his wife dies too.
They express their sick sentiments not just in the dark recesses of their troubled minds and not just over bad frou-frou coffee at Starbucks. They boast of their wicked wish openly to the world. They tweet it, for God’s sake.
These are the people who, simultaneously, are addicted to signaling their virtue by driving electric cars, banning plastic straws and turning our once-great cities into burning anarchy zones and vagrant toilets.
I said this descent to barbarianism is “inexorable.” Why?
It’s inexorable because it’s the natural result of their rejection of Western values of truth, justice and beauty. “Truth” is relative now. What used to be “truth” has two strikes against it just because it probably reflects white patriarchal values. A recent narrative of the Left is that 2 + 2 does not equal 4.
Without truth, there is no right or wrong. Therefore, it cannot be “wrong” to root for the virus to kill the president. Anything goes.
“Justice”? It’s been replaced with something called “social justice.” That’s a high-sounding phrase for taking stuff from people who earned it and giving it to people who vote for you. If you think that’s wrong, then you didn’t read the last two paragraphs.
“Beauty”? That’s just a subjective value that gets foisted onto the oppressed by the oppressors. The Left sees Michelangelo’s “David” as an ugly work of a cultural-centric racist which is less beautiful than “Piss Christ.”
Now that the Left openly roots for the death of people who disagree with them, we’re only one step from the end game where they don’t just root for those deaths but cause them. How long before the Left cancels people not just figuratively but literally? That was precisely the approach of Stalin, Lenin and Mao.
Pointing out to the Left that they’re in the company of those communist tyrants, however, tends to embolden them, not offend them. So I’ll point out that their violent criminality in the pursuit of political power also puts them in the company of Hitler.
This is why the Left has been fixated on Hitler the last few years. It’s because, deep down and increasingly right on the surface, they’re literally just like him.

There is absolutely no way to justify much less understand the mind of a person. The only thing we can see when looking in on these sorts is their frontal lobe screams HATRED.
I believe their problem is not how they look at others, but more importantly the dislike they have for themselves and the lack of happiness and love in their lives.

Come on, man. I suppose you also think that Trump advised us to inject bleach. As for the “stand by” part of his response, that may be the first actual “dog whistle” that he has sounded — a call to arms if the left manages to scale the walls and break down the door.

You might have gone to the refrigerator when President Trump was talking; he specifically DID condemn the “loaded question” of Mr. Wallace, who if fair, would have asked Mr. Biden to condemn the white supremacists also. By asking only President Trump, Mr. Wallace implied that he has some difficulty renouncing racism, when he never has. I’m surprised, you saw Mr. Wallace ask the question but refused to hear President Trump affirm the rejection. Bias is often the result of not listening, by choice. Choose to listen while seeking the truth and you will find more of it and less ratification of your bigotry.

The unstated part of the Kristallnacht-Portland analogy involves not simply what was done, but government’s total indifference to what was done. How do the people of Oregon elect such morons, who apparently think not only that Antifa “is just an idea,” but that it’s a good idea?
Not only was Portland’s government indifferent to the rioting, arson, looting, and general mayhem, so was Seattle’s, so was Minneapolis’, so were NYC’s, San Francisco’s, and the governments’ of many other cities all over the country. Also, the media bent over backwards to either ignore what was happening or to relegate the news as unimportant, and to downplay the violence, for example, describing riots as (“mostly peaceful”) protests.

Their ultimate fantasy is to send us to their own versions of “Gulags” or the Guillotine – all in the name of “virtue” and “social justice”. They do not just want Trump dead – they want all of us (including Sleepy Joe Biden) dead.
An irony in this dis-ease is that lefties — is there a more specific, more redolent denomination? — want what is in fact powerlessness. Power is good and God. Putting oneself in the position of good and God, one whose powers are finite, is powerlessness and really stupid. Great post! Anyone who thinks that violence solves anything isn’t very smart and the Left is all for violence against those they hate and taking what they want instead of working for it. The same people who are doing the violence are the kids who grew up getting participation trophies 10-15 years ago. The hypocrisy of the Left is astounding. They claim to be big on women’s rights but disparage Amy Coney Barrett for balancing a successful career as a jurist and being a mother of 7 kids. They also back Iran, where child brides are taken and women are beaten in the streets for walking too loud. How can you be for women’s rights if you back a country that brutalized them and put down a successful woman who has everything simply because she’s Conservative?
How can you be against police, yet call them for help when it’s your butt that’s in danger of being hurt or killed?
It’s blatant hypocrisy and we see right through it. The Leftists committing all this violence are no better than the Nazi Brownshirts in Germany back in the late 1920s and 1930s.
