The list of things that nine-year-old boys are prohibited from doing is long. They cannot drive, vote, skip school, get a tattoo without parental permission, buy cigarettes or marijuana or alcohol, or irrevocably mutilate their bodies.
If you’ve ever met a nine-year-old boy, you’d probably agree that these prohibitions are sensible.
Another thing a nine-year-old boy cannot do is to consent to sexual relations with another person. We sensibly deem the nine-year-old brain incapable of granting consent to such an act.
But the people who labeled themselves “woke” until society began associating their chosen label with their nutty ideas, say that a nine-year-old boy – without his parent’s consent or even knowledge – should be able to have his penis amputated. He can get his penis filleted but not fellated.
Amputation of his penis is apparently exempt from the prohibition on mutilating other parts of his body. He still can’t get a tattoo.
Of course, these former wokesters don’t refer to this amputation of a boy’s penis as “penis amputation.” They instead refer to it as “gender affirming” care. This “gender affirming” care is designed to disguise the fact that the boy has a Y chromosome – to disguise the fact that he’s a boy by making him look like a girl
You might think they would put the little boy’s amputated penis into an organ bank for recycling on a little girl who wants the inverse kind of “gender affirming” care. Or you might think they would put the amputated penis into a deep freezer so that it might be re-attached if the little boy changes his mind as he grows up, as little boys are known to do.
But no, the amputated penis gets disposed of as medical waste like a malignant tumor (though I suspect that a few are in specimen jars as trophies on some wokester’s bookcase).
Another part of this “gender affirming” care is to administer drugs to block the natural production of male hormones like testosterone when the dismembered boy reaches puberty.
President-ish Joe Biden intones that to prohibit a little boy from having his penis amputated and his puberty blocked with drugs without his parents’ consent or even knowledge, is “cruel.”
Mr. Biden’s professional medical opinion in this regard is contrary to the standard of care in several European countries including Great Britain and Sweden, where they experimented with that approach for a while (recall that Dr. Mengele was European) before concluding that it was not cruel to keep little boys’ penises attached to the little boys; the cruel thing was to amputate them.
Duh.
These grotesque mutilations of children reflect an underlying narrow-mindedness. Woke Democrats cannot tolerate a boy who likes to dress up or play with dolls or happens to like the color pink. They believe such a boy is not a boy at all, and so he must be transformed into a girl or at least something resembling a girl.
It also reflects the Democrats’ obsession with identity politics. It’s evidently for the purpose of pandering to the current faddish fetish of transsexualism – a demographic that comprises a fraction of a percent of humanity, or at least that was the case before it escalated into a social contagion.
This transexual-pandering epidemic of child mutilation is from the party, supposedly, of compassion and tolerance.

I wouldn’t want to rob you of your little wordplay exercise, but a nine year old boy is unlikely to have his penis either filleted or fellated. I don’t know about you, but when I was nine I could barely find my weenie. My late maturation notwithstanding, a kid today could easily get a blower if he wanted one, much easier than trans surgery for sure. More to the point, I’d have to see more evidence that gender reallocation surgery without parental consent for nine year olds is actually a mainstream policy stance among Democrats, let alone something we are likely to hear about in the next State of the Union speech. Many polls show that Dems oppose “gender affirming” surgery on minors by a far saller margin that Republicans and Independents do. In fact, among Dems it’s a close call — nearly 50% support it.
Agree with the position, George, or disagree with it and admit that the Dems are out of the mainsteram on this. But you can’t really say it’s not the Dem position when their president, his cabinet, and a substantial number of ordinary Dems support it.
A little nuance please. Not all gender affirming care involves penisectomies. Some of it involves counseling and other much less radical treatments. And minors are generally 16 or less, not nine. But of course it’s much more salacious to talk about the rare exception than the rule. What Biden and most Dems are against is absolute denial of treatment for a legitimate condition. You and your readership may see this issue as a “with us or with the terrorists” choice, but more reasonable people won’t be backed into that corner.

George, you’re ignoring the actual contents of the remarks of Biden and his Assistant Secretary of Health. Their remarks were expressly about gender affirming SURGERY.
Counseling? Fine. Much less radical treatments? Fine. Almost everyone would say fine about those treatments. But that’s not what the remarks of the president and his Assistant Secretary of Health were addressing. They were addressing surgery. The president said it was “cruel” to deny such surgery to minors, and his Assistant Secretary of Health said such surgery on minors was “safe and medically necessary.”
And they said it without nuance.
Assistant Secretary Levine, who is trans, has a more radical view of surgery than Biden, I imagine, especially since Old Joe has been known to misunderstand such things. But again, how did you arrive on aged nine as your starting point? Let me be more direct in my critique. IMHO you are purposely mischaracterizing Biden’s position and that of most Democrats on gender reassignment surgery in order to satisfy your MAGA readers, just as Tuck does (although to a lesser extent). Maybe you don’t know that many Dems. I do. I’m married to one, and she’s a PHD psychologist who doesn’t support Ms. Levine’s position. But she and I and every other reasonable person I’ve talked to about this disagree with the hard-assed approach DeSantis and many other Republicans have taken toward people dealing with gender dysphoria. It is, in fact, cruel, and ignorant as well. Ignorance is on display all across the political spectrum these days, but the two front runners for the GOP Presidential nomination look to be competing for the Gold Medal. I expect this from Trump, who has always prided himself on his ability to shed knowledge like a seabird sheds water. But a Harvard man ought to be a little more discerning. Maybe DeSantis will change his tune if he’s nominated. But right now the champ is looking pretty good for a third run, and he’s never going to change.

Very good point Greg. Isn’t it odd that gender dysphoria always involves boys in girls’ bodies and girls in boys’ bodies but none of the other 55 genders seem to be diagnosed with dysphoria or require “gender affirmation surgery?”
i have 3 sons. all played with stuffed animal dolls, putting on and changing up diapers and etc. feeding them and etc. i can assure you that my sons are NOT female. i, their mother, dont like dresses. jeans and tshirt kinda gal. relate more to men than women. dont really like women much. think much more like a man. i can assure you i AM NOT a man. oh and there are only TWO genders. even a fully surgicaled trans is the gender they are born.
In 2002 I read a very long, informative column by a man who was the Director of Psychiatry at John Hopkins at the time, where they perfected the surgical procedure. He said they stopped doing the surgery as they determined they were treating a mental disorder with surgery, they’ve since caved to Activist Pressure and reinstated the practice and this guy is long gone. Welcome to the Party Mr. Beaton though I might add, where ya been? This didn’t happen overnight, like everything else going off the rails today, it took years of preparation to get here and anyone speaking out was soundly thrashed and minimized. They are never satisfied, continually moving the goal posts improving the world day by day no matter who it kills.

None of this should be a surprise. Progressives have been aiming for the kids and severing parental authority for generations now. Remember Bill Clinton’s surgeon general who openly argued that sex ed should begin in kindergarten? I have listened to Matt Walsh’s ‘What is a woman” and I do believe that this IS the quantifiable issue of this time. If we loose this, the damage to our society can’t be underestimated. They are essentially neutering and spaying these young human beings like dogs, tricking them at a time of adolescence when we all know is a very vulnerable and confusing time. The cruelty of this is astonishing, but then these wokesters are demonic. .
These children wont be able to reproduce. Eventually we will have a society where the fertile people will be few and far between and will be hunted down and corralled into camps like in the handmaids tale, except all the “Aunts” (The guards as the fertility camps) will be trans.
Think of that.
When I read the handmaids tale back in the 90s, I remember always having a sense that most of the Aunts were a little bit “manly” because under sharia, the women in the morality police who enforce sharia on fellow women, they tend to be ‘the more butch types”.
Who knows, some of them may actually be trans too.
So if you pick up Handmaids tale, realize they look more like the “sisters of perpetual indulgence” and are literal nightmares. It actually makes the novel make more sense.
