Thank Joe Biden for pulling an egotistical Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a Supreme Court Justice and a darling of the left. She was endearingly referred to as “Notorious RBG” for her strident opinions invariably siding with the Democrats on political issues.

But she grew old. She also grew feeble physically and, sadly, to some extent mentally as well. She started breaking Court tradition by giving television interviews, where she unfortunately spoke intemperately about political issues.

Shortly before the 2016 election, she told a reporter that Donald Trump was “a faker.”

And then she said something to the reporter that apparently came into her head at that moment because she really had an ego. She said Trump “says whatever comes into his head at the moment. He really has an ego.”

Democrats could see that RBG was not long for this world. They begged her to retire before the 2016 election in order to avoid Trump nominating her successor. She refused. Her ego was evidently no smaller than Trump’s – the person she mocked for having a big ego.

Trump and his ego were elected president. During Trump’s time in office, RBG confided to her daughter that her fervent wish was that she would live to see Trump voted out so that a Democrat president could nominate her replacement.

She didn’t live to see that. RBG and her ego died while Trump was in office, and he replaced her with Amy Coney Barrett – who sided with the majority in overturning Roe v. Wade and beginning the dismantling of the Deep State, among other things.

Among the left, RBG is still notorious but in a different way. She is seen as someone who clung to her Supreme Court robes long after she could have made way for a progressive replacement nominated by Barack Obama. That progressive replacement could have stayed on the Supreme Court till the cows came home and the nation was fundamentally transformed. RBG refused to retire, however, because she liked the robe, the digs, the prestige, the attention, and the life.

Imagine that. A gluttonous leftist feeding at the taxpayer trough to the detriment of her leftist allies.

Which brings us to Joe Biden.

Biden’s administration is notoriously disastrous. Rampant inflation fueled by intemperate spending, foreign policy debacles from Afghanistan to Ukraine to Gaza, divisive identity politics, a woke military, and a deliberately non-existent southern border during a time of international terror.

Like RBG, Biden is prone to verbal gaffes. He says whatever comes into his mind, apparently because he has a very big ego. He scolds staff, belittles reporters, trips on the stairs, and curses under his breath. He called a long-time Dem operative a “prick” for questioning his electability at age 81 in years and age 117 in cognition.

I predict that in the next few months, a reporter will ask an impertinent question, and Biden will publicly name-call him a “mo-fo” except he’ll use the longer form of the expression. If he still remembers it.

The American people see this incompetent nincompoop for what he is, though his handlers try to hide him. Polls show him losing badly to Trump at this moment, and losing even worse to Nikki Haley. We can only guess at the poll numbers after the first debate when Biden is not armed with cartoon cue cards.

But like RBG, Biden won’t quit. He loves the digs, the prestige, the attention, and the life. And so do “doctor” Jill and his greedy, miscreant son and brother.

At this late date, as in the case of RBG, it’s too late for him to quit. That’s because it’s too late for other Dems to get on the ballots, with the exception of Kamala Harris (HAHAHAHAHA!!!) who is already on the ballot as VP.

So, the Dems are stuck with Biden. He’ll go down in flames, and so will the Dems. Biden’s legacy will be that of a lousy president who damaged the country and the world in the name of saving us from Trump, and then damaged the country and the world some more by refusing to step down after one term, thereby allowing Trump to return.

I love it that Biden – who is really a terrible human being – will be humiliated, especially when the humiliation is at the hands of his leftist allies in university history departments.

And I love that we’ll again have a Republican president – accompanied by a Republican Senate, House and Supreme Court. It could be a glorious and notorious age. Thank Joe Biden and his ego.

  1. You really think after stealing the 2020 election and slowly rigging lower-on-the-totem pole elections in 2022 – that the Democratic theft machine is just going to stop?

This post is accurate in describing Biden – but naive in thinking that every election isn’t going to be rigged.

You also don’t mention that Gov Ron DeSantis and RFK Jr are two of the best candidates in U.S. history – far better than both Trump and Biden ( though, both were are so bad that being far better isn’t really a high bar in and of itself) – but both men are outstanding.

  2. “I love it that Biden – who is really a terrible human being – will be humiliated…”

But, will he even realize that he’d been humiliated?

  3. Your post prompted me to think about totalitarian dictators throughout history. What traits are held in common? First and foremost, it is the tenacity with which they cling to power. Just in our recent past we have the examples of Franco in Spain; Mao in China; Castro in Cuba; Lenin, Stalin and now Putin in Russia (and its former incarnation, the USSR); Ceaucescu in Romania; the Kim family in Korea; one could go on at great length. What are the motivations behind this, you wonder? First and foremost it is the will to power, followed closely by the knowledge that once power is relinquished it is only a matter of time that a successor dictator will “liquidate” (gotta love those old Russkies–they had a way with words) them. Dictators usually ascend to their position by liquidating their competition, thus establishing a pattern that tends to be repeated. Frequently, the murderous ascent to power is accompanied by electoral theater, like the famous “elections” in the old Soviet Union or Korea, where the results are generally in the neighborhood of 99% favorable balloting. Gosh, what popular support these dictators have, amirite? Hold on, Steve! Are you suggesting that Biden is one of these dictator types? Not exactly, but I don’t think it is far from the mark to suggest that he wishes he could emulate them, and it is equally not a stretch to suggest that his political party would be very happy to eliminate its opposition “by any means necessary” in order to stay in power. A clue to their intentions is found in the truism that what they accuse their opposition of is what they would like to do if they could; i.e., they project on their opposition the very things they fantasize about. That is why they so fervently accuse Trump and his supporters of wanting to “destroy our democracy.” It is why they accused Trump and his upporters of participating in an “insurrection.” It is why they accuse their opponents of “racism”, “sexism”, “islamophobia”, and why they equate “nationalism (or “patriotism, as it is more properly defined) as “Nazism.” One need only to contrast the behavior of contemporary democrat (and to a lesser extent, republican) politicians with that of our first, and probably best president, who voluntarily relinquished power and retired from public life. King George was accurate when he called him the greatest man in the world. Pelosi, Shumer, McConnell, et al–when have any of this bunch retired as opposed to dying in office? Their role model is FDR, who fancied himself so irreplacable that he broke the two-term tradition. (Of course, it was in the midst of war, you see, one of those “serious crises” that Rahm Emmanuel suggests to never let go to waste.) Meanwhile, one votes and hopes, but under no circumstances would I recommend giving up one’s guns.

  4. “we’ll again have a Republican president”; maybe not. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bidan won again. And at least when Trump name calls, he’s trying to be comically provocative. Whether he’s successful at that is questionable.

  5. I pray that we will have Republican leadership in the White House and Congress. Your description of RBG and Biden egos could also describe the current “so-called” Pope who is busy redefining a 2,000 year old church and firing his opposition.

  6. The Notorious RBG and the Demented FJB also have another similarity besides their arrogant egos. Ginsburg hasn’t been right on Constitutional Law in over forty years and Biden hasn’t been right on foreign policy (and domestic policy too) for even longer.
